The newest generation of the Idea family, the Idea a12 OS hybrid irons are built with ultra thin faces, perimeter weighting and low CG's throughout the set.

For the first time in a hybrid club, the Idea a12 OS hybrid utilizes Velocity Slot Technology to produce a spring-like effect across the entire face, which improves forgiveness and increases launch angle without increasing spin; this combined with the ultra thin face produces higher ball speeds increasing distance.

The Idea a12 OS set also includes redesigned Transitional Hybrids with a "Truss Back" design allowing more weight to be distributed to the perimeter of the club lowering the center of gravity making them optimally suited for bridging the gap between the hybrids and the deep undercut cavity-back irons of the set.

Velocity Slot Technology allows the face of the Idea a12 OS Hybrid to flex similar to today's oversized drivers, thus increasing the CT and improving ball speed. However, it does much more than just add distance. It substantially improves the forgiveness by widening the "sweet spot" of the face and improves the overall launch conditions by providing higher launch without impacting spin. Never before has a hybrid featured the optimized spin with the higher overall launch angle that Velocity Slot Technology can deliver.
