Best Powered Cart for Under 1K

The Cart-Tek GRX-1200 may be the best powered cart for under $1000. Easy to assemble and learn how to use. Very strong frame with a dual motor drive. It takes less than a minute to get the bag mounted after removing it from a car or van. I have used it four times, and actually prefer using it in manual mode, rather than with the remote. Only negative comment is that I feel the speed control should respond more smoothly. I may change the speed control myself to one an electrician - mechanic recommended.

Worth twice as much!

Remote controlled golf carts are not new. I have wanted one for at least 10 years but was unable to get one because of the high prices. I love to walk the course, but carrying a bag was wearing me down toward the end of my rounds. I got a push cart but still yearned for the remote controlled cart to free my body from moving my clubs around the course. I finally took the leap and purchased this cart, and all I can say is WOW! This cart is a dream come true. I am free to walk the course without having to worry about my clubs. I'm free to swing my arms and casually stroll down the fairways, with my clubs right beside me. The only thing better would be to have a personal caddy! This cart works very well. There is no interference with getting your clubs in and out of your bag. It has more than enough speed to keep up with your particular walking pace. It goes up and down hills with ease. It's stealthy quiet. What more can I say? The only thing I can say remotely negative is how heavy the battery is. I knew it weighed around 30 pounds, but when you see the battery you don't think of it until you go to pick it up! But in the overall view of this cart, all I can say is that I'm overjoyed I decided to purchase this. You'll be, too!
