It has the same adjustable shaft as the original TaylorMade R9 Driver, but is without the moveable weights, and a has a lower price of $299.95. The R9 460 has a slightly larger footprint than the original R9 and features what TaylorMade call it as their modern classic head shape. The larger head of the of the R9 460 is more forgiving then the original R9 at the sacrifice of some workability as well as the ability to tinker with the weights to adjust ball flight.
