best non-laser device

Very convenient. Small enough to wear on a cap or visor. Loud enough to be heard if worn on belt. No yearly charges. In general, I love the device and my wife likes it even more! However, I'm not ready to give up my laser as it is more accurate on shots that I need to know the exact distance, such as with an 8-SW. This is particularly so when playing courses with very large greens. My home course is an old-fashioned layout with very small greens and I rarely have to resort to the laser as I know the distance a pin is from the center, front or back within 2-3 yards

Pros:	pre loaded course / good sound quality / great size
Cons:	short battery life
Recommended:	Yes

I really like the Golf Buddy Voice, its a great help when you are on a familiar course. The only down side is it won't show distance to any hazard, only to the pin.

I love how small it is! I can clip it to my visor, or to a pocket or waistband. I often don't use the verbal response (has to be activated by pushing the button), just look at the yardage shown. It will tell you what hole your on, however! For me, the few yard difference between this and my husband's Garmin watch, doesn't make or break my game!
