Golf Carts
The first manual golf cart was a pull
golf cart style having two wheels with a vertical support for a golf
bag. This golf cart design had supports which were similar to a
manual dolly but with clips and holders especially adapted for golf
gear. The two-wheel pull golf cart is the traditional walking style
cart that has been around for years. A golfer while walking the
links, drags the pull golf cart behind him/her eliminating the need
to carry a golf bag. With innovative research, golf cart
manufacturers took the traditional pull golf cart concept and
evolved it into a drastically improved push golf cart model. The new
three-wheel push golf cart is designed to be pushed in front of the
golfer alleviating stress and strain on the back and shoulder
muscles. A three-wheel golf cart is easy to maneuver as it rolls
forward with a simple push. The most recent innovation in the manual
style golf cart is the electric golf cart that is similar to the
three-wheel push golf cart, but is self propelled and allows the
golfer to enjoy walking the links while totally eliminating the
strain of pushing or pulling a cart around the course. For the
golfer who prefers to take in the golfing experience the
“old-fashion” way by walking the course, yet conserve their strength
for driving the ball and putting, these new electric walking golf
cart designs are a great way to play golf.
