Adams Golf was founded 1987 by Barney Adams. Adams Golf was a golf equipment component supplier and contract manufacturer in Texas. Barney Adams moved the company to Dallas in the 1990s to concentrate on custom fitting Adams Golf Clubs and new product research and development.
Through Barney's experience of custom-fitting golfers and witnessing the performance of various golf equipment designs and materials, Adams developed the revolutionary Adams Golf Tight Lies fairway wood.
