Bobby Jones' motto for over 40 years has been that he will not change a model unless he can make a significant improvement over the current design. In reference to the 2013 line of Bobby Jones drivers, this is an understatement. The first redesign in five years features a Japanese-style cup face technology for a hotter, more explosive hitting area. The perimeter edges of the Beta-Ti cup face design are thinned out to enhance ball velocity while increasing gear effect for straighter drives.

The dramatic crown slope from topline to rear reduces drag, increasing clubhead speed by over 4 mph over our previous model. The all titanium construction has increased body rigidity creating more power at impact.

Less triangular and more pear shaped than the previous Workshop Series drivers, this Lexus Pearl painted driver sets up confidently at address. Your personal preference for shot pattern options can be selected by using the provided 4 mm wrench that adjusts the face angle to square, one degree closed or two degrees closed. For example, a player who prefers to work the ball would select the square face option while the player seeking to eliminate their slice would select the two degree close option.

The standard shaft offerings are Graphite Design’s G-Series 50 shafts at 45" and the Superlight G-Series 40 at 47". Any lengths can be requested as a custom option.
