Mizuno MP H4 Iron Set

The MP-H4 is a super forgiving long iron replacement – with the classic low offset look preferred by better players.

At address the MP-H4 sits comfortably alongside any of the MP iron sets, while the new Grain Flow Forged face and neck ensure the same smooth, Mizuno feel at impact.

Unlike a standard MP long iron, the MP-H4’s hollow construction allows greater weight to be placed low and deep within the clubhead. The deeper weight position encourages a high launch angle and softer landing path, for control with longer approach shots. A Grain Flow Forged face, neck and sole create additional face flex to produce higher ball speeds and a noticeable step up in distance.

The MP-H4 long irons are available from 2-5i and can be custom fitted to mix with any Mizuno MP iron set.

Testimonials:

"The hybrid long iron has been Mizuno's most played club on the European Tour – it gives the high flight and forgiveness the players need, but still look right over the ball. When we introduced the MP-H4 at the 2012 Open Championship the players noticed how the Grain Flow Forged face gave a big improvement in ball speeds and landing angle. When we've tour players using one or two of these hybrids, it's hard to understand anyone else using a standard 2 iron."

Long irons are back in the bag
By Mongoose from Portland oregon on 12/07/2013
Pros: Bought the 2 thru 5 irons to replace hybrids. These clubs are fantastic whether hitting off the tee or off the deck. Nice partner for my jpx shorter irons
Cons: None to mention
Recommended: Yes
Solid shots. Long and true. Nice to have longer irons that are easier to hit for an 18 handicapper over 60 years old.

I play with MP-H4 irons and I love them. My friend wanted to try the 2 and 3 and he prefers them to a hybrid. He bought the 2 and 3 irons.

Great Muscle Backs
By Mongoose from Washington State on 09/17/2013
Pros: Reliable shots most of the time
Cons: Have not found any yet
Recommended: Yes
I bought the MP H4 3, 4, 5 irons to support my Mizuno JPX 825 Pros. They give me the distance I need on shots from 170 to 190 with great reliability and accuracy. I love these clubs. They allow for those special shots into greens on the par 3's whether it requires a fade or draw. Also easy to hit off of fairway. Only carry 1 hybird now, but it gets limited duty when I am stuck in high grass.

Mizuno mp-H3
By JJ from Boston on 06/26/2013
Pros: forgiving on missed shots
Cons: not as effective as a traditional hybrid
Recommended: Yes
I purchased the club to replace my traditional hybrid. I prefer the feel of irons and thought this club might fit the bill. Although I like to feel of the club it is not as pure a shot as my hybrid when hit well. On the other hand a shot hit thin has a better outcome than my hybrids

Mizuno Mp-H4
By Bob from Colorado on 12/22/2012
Pros: Easy to hit, great ball flight
Cons: none

I play MP-53 irons which are awesome irons, but I struggle with the long irons from time to time. I replaced the 4 iron with a mp-h4 and the long iron struggles are gone. This thing is sweet. I have yet to miss with it. Next purchase will be the 3 iron. Mizunos, in my opimion are the best golf clubs made, period.
