Trains your hands for proper takeaway (For Pitch Shots)

* Prevents over rotation of the hands.
* The (Wrist and Hand Guide Needle) gives immediate visual feedback, if your hands and arms are over or under rotating
* Practice proper hand positions as shown in the figures above in front of a mirror
* Your takeaway is one area where you have very little room for personal preference
* On a driving range practice hitting small chip and pitch shots in order to ingrain proper lasting feeling

NOTE: FULL SHOTS - The majority of the tour players set their wrist much later in their back swing, however, but it is ok to set your wrist early in your back swing. Please keep in mind and make sure that you take your club back for the first three feet or so in one piece.

Learn proper hand position before and at impact

* Naturally un-hinge your wrist through impact, when done properly it will lead to proper squaring of the club face through impact
* Notice how the (Wrist and Hand Guide Needle) is pointing downwards, this will ensure that you are hitting down and compressing the ball
* Practice this move in front of the mirror or on the range.
* Start by hitting 100 to 200 small pitch shots and than move up to 3/4 and full shots

Learn to draw the ball
Low Handicappers:

* As you know there are number of ways to hit a controlled draw, but we recommend using a combination of your hips and shoulder rotation along with arm rotation.
* Slow your hips just a fraction through impact and allow you hands to naturally release, this will ensure nice controlled draw.
* If you completely rely on your hands rotation for a draw it will be very hard to control the amount of spin and distance.

High Handicappers:
* Step 1: Take a wider stance than normal
* Step 2: Close the face of the club by few degrees
* Step 3: Make sure your right shoulder stays behind during the down swing
* Step 4: Emulate the position in the (figure above) by maintaining a triangle formed between your arms and chest after the impact.
* NOTE: Make sure that your left arm has fully rotated and your right arm gets over the left arm. (Notice how the (Wrist and Hand Guide Needle) is pointing downwards.
* You will only be able to achieve this hand and arm position if your club has traveled and came from the inside.

Learn to fade the ball
Low Handicappers

* There are number of ways to hit a controlled fade, but we recommend using a combination of your hips and shoulder rotation along with no arm rotation.
* Fire your hips through impact zone and allow your right shoulder to come over slightly, then simply turn your whole body through impact. Hold on to your club in order to minimize any release of the club.
* Completely relying on your arms for a controlled fade can be hard to do and is less reliable.

High Handicappers
* Step 1: Narrow your stance
* Step 2: Open your club face slightly
* Step 3: Emulate the position in the (figure above) by maintaining a triangle formed between your arms and chest after the impact.
* NOTE: Make sure the your left arm has NOT rotated and your right arm STAYS UNDER the left arm. (Notice how the (Wrist and Hand Guide Needle) is pointing upwards.

Master Your Swing Plane

* Place and secure the (Wrist and Hand Guide Needle) as show in the figure above.
* This provides a visual feedback as to where butt of the club is pointing.
* BACK SWING: 3/4 PositionĂ'The needle should be just inside the ball
* DOWN SWING: 3/4 PositionĂ'The needle should be pointing right at the ball

Very Effective - Best Money Spent
By Ed from St. Matthews on 05/31/2013
Pros: Fundamentally Sound, Adds Distance and Improves Accuracy - Best Money Spent
Cons: None
Recommended: Yes
My PGA Instructor recommended this - as I had a tendency to cast my club and tried to help the ball, so I decided to purchase the PL and FW - best investment. One thing that is universal among all pros is that they create lag and have a flat wrist through the impact.

I have never seen product(s) that helps you work on both these very important fundamentals like these two training aids.

I have been using the PL and the FW for couple of weeks and I have seen a dramatic improvement in my ball striking. It has tremendously help my short game, Now I am hitting down on the ball and the ball simply pops up and checks up like I see the pros do it on the TV.

The only thing that I would say is that it feels little odd when you first try it, but once you get a good feel for it - it simple works. One another thing, watch the DVD, it is very informative and you would appreciate the full use of the products by watching the DVD.

My Pro started me with hitting short punch shots, by concentrating on my takeaway and holding the angle in my right wrist all the way through the impact and making sure that I fully rotated by body through the impact. The PowerLag gives a perfect feel to hold that angle for as long as you can.

Absolutely love these aid and I highly recommend it. I will soon be posting my before and after videos.

It Simply Worked
By [RV]erified User #157526 Joe from IL on 03/02/2013
Pros: Easy to Use, Does Exactly as Advertised
Cons: None
Recommended: Yes
Before using the PowerLag + FW I was hitting my driver about 225 yards with a consistent slice and even with my short irons 100 yards in I was slicing the ball. I had tried everything from making my grip Strong to offset clubs - nothing worked. I have to say the angle in FlatWrist and PowerLag fixed it in few days - The problem was that my right elbow was too high almost above my left arm which was making me come over the top.

Using the PowerLag, gave me the feedback and put my wrist and right elbow in a correct position, and just practicing for few hours it really had my club coming from the inside. Basically when you hold the wrist angle which the Powerlag does, it drops the club in a proper slot.

Now with the help of the PL and FW I am hitting the ball much straighter and even I can draws the ball when I have to. My average drive is about 250 to 265. I have improved my short game dramatically. Now chipping is the most strong part of my game. The DVD that comes with it is very informative and well put together, it is over an hour long, which means these guys put the time and money in the video and you get your moneys worth. I recommend watching the video, it helps to learn how to use these products correctly

It Cured My Slice - Great Training Aid
By Dan from CT on 02/09/2013
Pros: It Is Simple To Use and It Works
Cons: None
Recommended: Yes
For years I have struggled with slicing and hitting the ball fat or thin, until I started using the Powerlag and Flatwrist. I took me less than half an hour to start creating lag and hitting good quality Punch shots, and now after three weeks, I am hitting with confidence and they are going straight. And, when I do hit a bad shot I know what I did wrong. I use both aids and hit three quarter Punch shot before I move to hitting full shots. But, I have to say these two training aids are simply the best, and the DVD is very informative with lots of drills.

What I like the most about the product is that both the training aids give you immediate feedback, so I know if I am doing something wrong. I have an extra set that I keep in my office and work on my takeaway and holding the lag coming down.

I can safely say that I have increased my distance with my driver 10 to 15 percent, for some that may not be much, but at my age that is a lot, where I don't have to force anything and yet get extra yards.

I highly recommend the product. Cheers

Awesome Training Aid
By John from CT on 09/28/2011
Pros: Great for Creating the Lag and Flat Wrist, Fixed my takeawy and roll of the wrist
Cons: none
Recommended: Yes
I saw one of the PGA teaching pros using the product. So I decided to order one. Best investment ever. This is the best two training aids by far.

Very simple and highly effective. I am hitting down on the ball with maximum lag - it is sweet.

I had a hard time getting rid off the roll of the wrist during my takeaway. The "TEE" in FlatWrist fixed it in 10 minutes.

This is a muyst have training aid. I highly recommend it - and the price is right.
