The Wilson Staff 88 Series of putters offers both classic and innovative head designs blended with the latest insert technology to delivery pinpoint accuracy and soft feel for a wide variety of golfers.

The putters all have dual-milled faces, milled once for a flat face, then a second time to apply arched grooves, which are intended to promote forward spin and reduce skidding.

These putters were inspired by classic Wilson designs but have been updated with precision milling and cutting-edge technology to blend classic shapes with modern performance and feel. The 888 series putters utilizes VPD, or Visual Plane Differential, alignment technology with multi-surface markings to help players position their eyes directly above the putting target line.

Best of all time newly re-done

I recently purchased the 8882 model. It is the new version of one of the best putters of all time, the original Wilson 8802. Absolutely love the new one. They add milling to the face which really generates a good roll on the ball. The weighting of the putter is perfect. Feels just like the original. The sightline on the top is really really nice and helps with alignment, which was probably the biggest flaw of the original. the grip on the putter is suprisingly nice for a stock grip. All in all, it feels great and has been performing well. I strongly recommend this putter for anyone who loved the original 8802 and is a big fan of the simple putters.
