I am a total beginner who could not hit a golf ball with any consistancy. After working with the Smart Path, introduced to me by my Teaching Professional, I can "follow the yellow brick road", her name for the trainer. Ok I know its simple isn't it it makes you trace the swing path of a touring pro... but it works and not only does it work it works right away... it slowed down my swing - takeaway and straightened out my drives - overall i learned how to swing the club all over again and I've gone from just breaking 100 to shooting in the 80's ... it does take time, it does take practice but get the path down and you have the swing - no more fooling around this thing is the right training tool... buy this thing while you can still get one and you don't need the instructional dvd just the training aid ... secure it down and hit balls off of it till you get the path down, once you do you're golden!! Easy to use, easy to learn, just keep the left arm straight and trace the path - amazing in its simplicity

The name speaks for itself. With just a few swings I was able to tell if I was on the right path or not.
Was easy to assemble and very easy to use.
The reference guide is well written, has great pictures, is easy to follow, and very helpful.
This is something I will keep in my family room so it is available at anytime I feel the need to use it.

Prior to having this Smartpath Golf Trainer, I did similar practice by hitting the single plastic tee on practice mat.
