Eidolon V-Sole Wedge

Eidolon Wedges are precision cast of mild 8620 carbon steel. It's been the favored material for wedges for two decades because it delivers great feel. Then the faces are computer-milled to exact flatness (yes, it's very important on a wedge), and the scoring lines are machined so they are perfect, too. Finally, the head is satin polished to prevent glare and plated -- first with two layers of nickel for a soft surface feel, and then chrome so that it won't rust. Other companies simply put a stiff iron shaft in their wedges, and give you one flex option, Eidolon uses the highly acclaimed Rifle Spinner wedge shaft from Precision. Pitching wedges have gotten stronger over the years and golfers have found themselves with a large distance void between their pitching and sand wedges. But this distance is where the scoring opportunities lie on short par 4s and par 5s. You need a club that you can dial in that distance from 90-120 yards, depending on your game. The V-SOLE 52 is just that club.

Everyone has always called the 56 degree wedge the "sand" wedge, but in today's game . . . and with V-SOLE technology . . . it's so much more that that. This club will quickly become your "go to" club when the chips are down. Whether it's a medium range bunker shot, a delicate pitch, a tricky shot that requires just the right trajectory, or one of the dozens of reasonably "routine" pitch shots in a round, this club will be the one you rely on.

Eidolon V-Sole 60* Wedge
High loft wedges may be the most misunderstood clubs in golf these days. We see Mickelson and Woods pull off these amazing lob shots, and believe it's all in the club. Sorry, but its not. It's mostly in the thousands of hours of practice they've put in . . . plus their 'god-like' talents. So, millions of golfers, including other tour pros, are wasting billions of shots trying to pull off these miracles.

But, the high-loft wedge does have its value, and ours is easier to master than any other. It's specially designed to be a great greenside bunker club and a lot more. The unique combination of bounce angles also allows you to hit many other soft little shots around the greens. And unlike nearly all the other 60s, ours has a higher center of mass, so that you can control your trajectories better as you approach a full swing.

The 60 requires some practice and orientation, but once you do that, you will amaze your buddies by what you can do that they can't.
